Exercise Physiology

At Innovate Exercise Physiology, we provide evidence-based exercise interventions to support people living with injuries, chronic conditions, or disabilities. Our Accredited Exercise Physiologists (AEPs) are university-qualified allied health professionals who specialise in clinical exercise prescription and long-term lifestyle change.
Whether you're managing a chronic disease, recovering from injury, or working toward better physical function, our tailored programs are designed to help you move better, feel stronger, and improve your overall health.
Our Exercise Physiology services can help with:

-
Injury rehabilitation and return to work
-
Falls prevention and balance training
-
Mental health support through movement
-
NDIS supports and functional capacity building
-

What to Expect:
Your journey starts with a comprehensive 1-on-1 assessment, where we discuss your goals, medical history, and current abilities. From there, we develop a personalised program tailored to your needs — whether it’s delivered in-clinic, in a group class, or through a home-based plan.
Stength Testing

Strength is a key foundation for healthy ageing, injury recovery, and disease management. At Innovate EP, we offer comprehensive strength testing to assess your current capacity and guide your exercise plan.
Our Accredited Exercise Physiologists use safe, validated testing methods to measure:
-
Upper and lower body strength
-
Functional performance (e.g. sit-to-stand, grip strength)
-
Progress over time with re-assessments

Why strength testing matters:
-
Tracks improvement and outcomes over time
-
Helps prevent falls and maintain independence
-
Guides safe return to activity or work
-
Personalises your program for maximum benefit

Whether you're a new client, part of our group classes, or an NDIS participant, strength testing plays an important role in how we tailor your care.
